That got me to wondering: What do the rest of you use as a foundation for your bead embroidery? Lacy's Stiff Stuff? Felt? Fabric backed by paper? Fabric backed by interfacing? What else?
Do you match the color of your foundation with the color of your design by painting your foundation or covering it with fabric? Or do you use the color or pattern of your foundation as the basis for your design?
One of the most interesting things about the Bead Journal Project is seeing the variety of beautiful ways members use beads. It's going to be a good BJP year!
I've just got to get my December 2011 page photographed and posted and then I'll be ready to start on 2012.
